Outputs

This project aims to generate novel insights into how to better design communications and engagement strategies in support of climate action in Ireland.

Over the next three years, this page will feature the main project outputs, including the following:

  1.  Valuable information on the worldviews guiding Irish people’s understanding and awareness of climate change and the climate-relevant actions they are already engaged in;
  2. Briefs on key sectoral climate communication needs; and
  3. Tools for organisations to create more effective communications to engage public action on climate.

These outputs will involve key sectoral stakeholder organisations in a Community of Practice during the project, which will also help build capacity for climate communication in Ireland.

Additionally, the project has developed a Living Literature Review of national and international research on the use of a worldview lens for climate communications and citizen engagement, as well as current Irish policy and practice in relation to citizen engagement on climate action. This will be available in a published report and also as a publicly-accessible online database, to enable the continuous evolution of the research base.
