Meet the Team

The team consists of researchers from the University College Dublin, who are experts in environmental communications, psychology, social sciences, worldviews related to climate change, and environmental policy.

Dr. Cara Augustenborg

Picture
Dr. Augustenborg is the Principal Investigator of the UWISCA project. She is an Assistant Professor in Environmental Policy at UCD and a member of Ireland’s Climate Change Advisory Council and President Higgins’ Council of State.

Ms. Anne Pender

​Ms. Pender is a researcher on the UWISCA project. She is an Environmental Policy Design Fellow and research scientist in the UCD School of Architecture, Planning & Environmental Policy at UCD and also works as a consultant on transformational approaches to climate communication and governance.

Dr. Miguel Trejo-Rangel

Dr. Miguel Trejo-Rangel is the senior postdoctoral researcher on the UWISCA project. He is a climate action researcher in the Environmental Policy team at UCD’s School of Architecture, Planning & Environmental Policy. 

Dr. Louise Dunne

Dr. Dunne currently manages the research portfolio in UCD’s School of Architecture, Planning & Environmental Policy and is involved in a diverse range of planning and environmental projects.

Ms. Yanika Farrugia

Ms. Farrugia completed the MSc in Environmental Policy programme at UCD and joined the UWISCA team as part of her summer 2024 internship.
